Vote

Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Election Day.

In the year of 2020, the Governor at that time, signed into law that Election day would be considered a Holiday.

So let me share my thoughts on this National Day

Yes, I voted this time. Not because I felt pressured to do so and not because I felt like it was my right to be able to do so but for the simple fact that, because I wanted to vote this time.

There have been numerous times in the past that I didn't vote because I simply didn't want to and I feel like I had that right not to if I chose that direction.

In other words I guess one of my pet peeves is someone saying you "need" to vote because that is your constitutional right to do so. Or some others may say, well you should vote for a certain candidate so it's a better chance that the other candidate won't win instead.

I'm not going to vote for someone if I don't like either one. Lol.

But I disagree with those statements from others and believe it should be your choice to do so or not. It should be a personal decision.

So agree or disagree because I don't care if you vote or not, that is your American choice to do so or not do it.

Just like with a few other "political" things that should be your choice. I'll save that for another day.

And nope I'm not interested in running for office anytime soon, that's just my personal views on voting. Teehee
